"Delivered the wrong mattress completely and then after calling customer service several times and every time I was told i would get a call back that was never received. They also kept telling me they couldn’t e-mail me to confirm anything, probably because I find out today that after several calls nothing was actually raised. Spoke to someone today who finally raises the issue and agrees to e-mail me, but I’m now waiting another two weeks for a delivery! I then put a formal complaint in to customer service who told me I can go and purchase an airbed for max £50 to sleep on until it comes.Thanks very much Bensons!"

"Great staff in Orpington store, sadly let down by an incredibly rude and unprofessional delivery team. Thorough complaint written to retailer, following which I promptly received a call apologising for delivery team's conduct. I am very disappointed that a simple goodwill gesture was not offered as recognition for what I had to endure. I would not recommend the retailer to anyone."

"Ordered once and told there was a delay a couple of days before delivery with no expected date. Cancelled order to look for something else, couldn’t find anything so some months later I re-ordered and was told there was another delay on the afternoon before the delivery date. I spent all morning moving our old bed into our spare room, only to have to move it back that afternoon after the phone call telling me it’s delayed. Really poor, and definitely pretty dissatisfied with the customer service side of things. On the other hand, the bed is great and was very simple to put together - thank you."

"The item arrived on the day arranged but the driver left a lot to be desired. He passed the box, which granted was very large, over the threshold of the front door but in the process must have either put the box down or trod down with his boot onto the rain guard at the base of the door as I found it lying on the floor after he had walked away. I did not see this at first as I was on the other side of the large box and could not see what had happened. I rang him to tell him what he had inadvertently done and he completely denied that it could possibly have been him, exact words being "no way could I have done that". I asked him if he was saying that it was me who was lying and he told me to take it up with Bensons."
