"Ignore posts commented years ago, Debra has new staff and a make over. Well worth a visit in the current climate for a bargain across the board, not just furniture but everything you may need from media to fashion"
"We got some furniture from here and are extremely happy with the pricing, products and the service.. delivery was on time and the delivery persons were very helpful and courteous.. couldn't expect more!!!"
"Awful experience. Left feeling humiliated after trying to donate a perfectly acceptable three piece suite and a washing machine. When I booked the collection, I checked with the woman on the phone that they would take them, describing the condition and confirming relevant safety labels for the furniture. Collection drivers turned up - rude and surly. Made it clear they didn’t want to take anything. Claimed the armchair was dirty (it wasn’t, it is second hand and slightly worn on one arm). Told them that they had wasted my time and sent them off of my property. How dare this charity make me feel belittled when I was trying to help them with a donation. I have since approached a different local charity who was thrilled to be offered the goods. Give this place a wide berth - they do not deserve the help since they choose to treat people like second class citizens and how dare they send round rude and belligerent collection drivers to humiliate people"
"Do yourselves a favour and donate to a more deserving charity. I visited the store with detailed photos and measurements of a large garden table and 8 chairs , after showing these to three employees they all agreed that it could be taken , I wanted clarification as I did not want to load the van and waste my time , alas this is exactly what happened the furniture was unloaded the store manager then advises me that she cannot take it even after a discussion had taken place. The quality of the furniture we had donated was much better quality than what was on display and I will not be donating again , there are more deserving charities out there who are more gracious and grateful for good quality furniture donations. One star is too generous if I could give 0 I would!"
"If I could give zero I would, pick up drivers were so rude and refused my leather suite which is worn and 13 years old (which they knew from my phone call description) but in no way damaged or torn as they claimed. Strangely, the evening before when I rang to see if they’d like my donation, I was told they could dispose of my suite for £65 and £35 for a corner and two piece before even seeing them??! Can’t help feeling cynical about this. My husband told the drivers to get off our property in the end as they became so insulting constantly claiming it was damaged and ripped. There will inevitably be creases and wearing in a 13 year old leather suite but that is not tearing...as they got in the van they repeated the offer to take the suite for £100...make of that what you will but be warned."
