"I'm a decorator and like antiques so whenever I see a nice shop I pop in. I popped in here on my way to a client and I heard the staff saying something like “he looks suspicious” and felt incredibly unwelcomed. It was so cringe so embarrassing that I had to leave. I'm never coming back and I won't be spending my money there. I was shocked to find out that other reviews mention the unfriendly and cold welcoming in this shop. Clearly something wrong is going on there"
"I wouldn’t normally post reviews, but I feel like I have to in this instance. I went into the store as I always walked passed it and was always intrigued. As a designer I went in to look for inspiration for potential furniture, soft furnishings and other decorative items I could use for projects. As soon as I took a step in the shop, I kindly said hello to the two staff members at the till, there was nothing. I tried asking a couple of questions regarding their items and stocks etc, but they made me feel so uncomfortable as if I was stupid for asking that particular question. Overall the store is amazing, but the staff members when I went in made it feel awkward and uncomfortable to look around. It does feel like you’re being watched."
"Popped in with my grandparents looking for wedding gift ideas. We were made to feel incredibly unwelcome by the staff, who assumed that we were nothing more than a bunch of thieves. They incessantly and indiscreetly followed us round the store making sure we didn't steal anything. Clearly they are under the illusion that if you don't go shopping in a 3-piece suit, you can't afford anything in their store. Maybe they haven't seen Pretty Woman?"
