"Went for a carvery today and always was spot on. Best carvery around. In the past front of house service has let it down but today it was very different. They have a new guy there running front of house and hes brilliant. Hes on the ball. Complements to the chef and kitchen staff aswel as food was amazing. Warm and friendly staff and atmosphere. Would highly recommend."

"Arrived all the way from Yorkshire coast (to locked doors at gone midday) to find they had “no record” of us booking, despite emails sent ( not answered) and a phonecall in September to check that all was in order!!! However, the ‘manager’ called my partner by his surname (when we finally found someone) so he definitely remembered the call!!! Fully booked apparently, we were offered the use of a room staff sometimes stay over in!!! Naturally, we said no. We were very , very lucky we managed to find a room in a nearby hotel ( everywhere else was booked) where we were booked for Afternoon Tea as part of a package through Activity Superstore . Very, very annoyed."

"Lovely welcoming staff,great food most amazing chips. Waiter brought out an ice cream with a candle in it and sang Happy birthday to me, lovely touch to finish off a great evening. Highly recommended the place will definitely go back."
