Reviews of The Sir Thomas Hotel
"From outside hotel is amazing, inside is old & tiered. Staff very good, breakfast ok. Location perfect."
"Dining experience at The Sir T gastronomy was an inspiring one. It was a nice casual fine dining floor with a creative menu. I tried their octopus carpaccio for starters, The sir T garden for dessert and for mains, the beef fillet with chocolate sauce. The main course was the sole purpose I'd visited The sir T. It is a thumb rule of creativity to break the cliche and chef Christina sure did break the cliche. The medium steak with chocolate sauce isn't a dish that one can understand by me explaining it, rather it's an experience of bliss, for which justice can be done only when the experience lived through by tasting this marvel of a dish. I got the honour and privilege to meet chef Christina who spent time talking with me and describing the roots of her innovation. Her passion and creativity wasn't just plated on the dishes but also in the way of her words. I must also make a special shout-out to waiters Will and Callum, after meeting several waiters at various restaurants, during various services, you can see through who is genuinely friendly and who is having their politeness scripted out. Will and Callum were two of the most genuine waiters I've ever met. I will visit The sir T again, not to review, but to give my undivided attention to the dishes and the experience."
"This is a fantastic hotel above and beyond, friendly welcoming, cosy rooms very clean. Brilliant bar and food Brilliant, my next visit to Liverpool, I will be staying here again, and recommend you do as well."
"Oh my gosh! Had to delete the original review where I pointed out racist behaviour because they rang my mom on her personal phone threatening with legal action! Can you think of anything more aggressive than someone actually ringing the guest after their stay to argue over a review?!"
"Outwardly a beautiful hotel, after checking in we found our room with the door frame broken as if the door had been kicked in, the room had biscuit crumbs on the desk, a used drink straw on the floor and a broken bed with blood stains along the side, the lovely Sash window had a sandwich wrapper holding it shut! Complained to reception and got moved to another room where the lights didn’t work and there was no heating! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone."
