"First time visit to this site and pleasantly surprised It is in a great location right on the canal and very close to Chester. I did paddle boarding on the canal both ways and that was great too We walked into Chester which took about 1 hour steady. You can also cycle along the canal into Chester in about 20 min Toilet and shower facilities were nice and well maintained The wardens Pete and Sharon were a lovely couple who made you feel at home They were very helpful and informative and came to introduce themselves at the earliest opportunity to see if all was ok and if you needed anything I would recommend this site"
"Fabulous small friendly site in ideal location by canal for picturesque easy cycle or walk into Chester. Well maintained site and owner was very helpful on arrival with info on transport into Liverpool. All facilties kept spotless and tidy by wardens Pete and Sharon who were so friendly and helpful with knowledge of local area and asked how our day had gone on our return. We have recommended this site to friends and will certainly return ourselves. Linda and Keith F."
"We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of August and had an amazing time. Did the lovely walk along the canal into Chester. Must mention the really helpful warden who went out of his way to help us - pointed us to a great pub in the next village for food and who had great knowledge of the local area. Great facilities which were spotless"
"We loved our stay at Netherwood. Itβs a beautiful, quiet site with spotless facilities and plenty of open space. The wardens were so friendly and helpful with plenty of local knowledge to share. The walk into Chester is really picturesque and the city itself is such a gorgeous place. There was plenty of choice of places to eat out within five minutes walk of the site. I hope weβll be back!"
"This is a beautiful and peaceful site and an absolute gem. Perfectly located on the canal to explore the local villages and have fab walk into Chester. The facilities were always immaculate and the site was well kept. The highlight without a doubt were site wardens Pete and Sharon. Very friendly and couldn't help you enough with local knowledge and always came to see if you had a good day when you get back to site. They came to introduce themselves at the first opportunity they could when we arrived. They made our stay one of the best we've had and we were sad to leave. We've had an unbelievable two weeks in sleepy corner."
