"The place was awesome. The service was cool. It's right next door to Aldi's. I would have given it five stars but they ended up charging my husband a bunch of money for parking when they have free parking. We're not from that country so we didn't find out about it till we got back home and my husband kept getting the runaround."
"Had our wedding here... regretted it. Didn't book the DJ we wanted, DJ they did book was awful and ruined the first dance, messed up our guests room bookings, booked the hog roast late, all hot water went in the building the next morning, breakfast service was a shambles with only 1 server on, communication was poor, we asked to keep some food aside from the buffet we paid for, but they binned the lot at the end of the night. I can imagine staying here for 1 or 2 nights for business being a good stay, but would not recommend for a wedding."
"Completely collapsed mattresses and extremely poor noise isolation. No air con, no smart tv so no Netflix, next room was having a coughing fit all night and it actually echo’s into the room and laying in the mattress is basically laying directly on the bed base as you can see from the picture where there’s nothing on it but the quilt. This was in the executive room as well. Ended up leaving at 1:30am and taking the 2 hour drive home. The staff are nice as is the venue but the room itself was abhorrent. The staff are nice"
"Very band management and services: -1, I had to go to reception every day for the first 3 days because the key wasn't working every time I went back to the hotel. The receptionists just stared at me like I was an alien. -2, the room was not cleaned properly as in the picture there were stains in the bathtub every day different and not cleaned and the toilet bin was never empty. -3, poor maintenance... There were broken frames and mold around the bathtub and door frame. Also the wall tailings was falling apart showing potential hazard. -4, the bar tables and counter were dirty and greasy as in the picture of the bar table I had the bad luck to have dinner on.... -5, room temperature was to hot and no chance to change it because the thermostat was not working. All this has been reported every day to the reception and also directly to the Operational Manager which, as the reception personnel, promise to take credit it, but NOTHING happened in 5 days of staying. I understand that no one is perfect and superficiality can lead to this, but there are no excuse not to take action when a customer brings up the issue, over and over and over... I HAVE BEEN IGNORED over the hotel bad habits and practice..... No refrigerator No telephone Bad WIFI So long!!!!"
"Great food, excellent, lovely, helpful staff, lovely tribute night, lovely room. Cathy(Cathryn) on Reception was so helpful when we arrived, she was also serving meals on the tribute night which we had booked in for,and was also on duty in the breakfast restaurant the next morning(did you get any sleep Cathy?). What a lovely, helpful, cheery lady she is. So lovely! The 3 course meal on the tribute night was just fabulous, best Leek and Potato soup we've ever tasted, lovely and hot, also main meal was excellent, and again lovely and HOT,. Don't like food served just warm, so this was fabulous, and desert was lovely too. Breakfast next morning was wonderful, again lovely and hot, served by lovely, cheery staff. . We had a lovely twin room, very clean etc. Also, special thanks to Andrea in the events dept, thank you for your help and knowledge about making our tribute booking/hotel stay etc. as we live in Staffordshire, Andrea you were most helpful. We will definitely return again soon for another tribute night,as we enjoyed it so much. Thank you everyone. Regards, Suzi & Brian,Staffordshire."
