"Lovely local theatre! Went to see Noughts and Crosses and it didn't disappoint. We got upgraded seats because our booked seats apparently had an obstructive view which was very kind of the theatre. A cosy theatre space which I definitely will be going back to"
"Excellent venue. Comfortable benches. Plenty of room. Good view of the stage. Decent cafe. Went with the grandson to see Dinosaur World. Will be back to see Zog and also Room on a Broom."
"Efficient and easy to get in. Fairly small as far as theatres go, but I prefer that. Felt quite casual going to the bar to grab coffee and water, which we usually skip. The Rose had no queues though. Our tickets enabled us to get a free programme, although I wish this had included some guidance on Brecht and the plot. Staging was interesting — loved the use of the steel framed beds as gates and bridges; very versatile. Staff all friendly and helpful, very chill atmosphere. I'll come here again."
"Small but not too small theatre. Good facilities and friendly staff. Very family friendly for kids shows. Beware some of the upper level seats aren't technically obstructed view but young kids can't see over the ledge where lighting rigs are attached. Good multistorey car park nearby is very handy."
"Lovely little theatre where you can see west end quality productions, without the big price tag. We saw Six, which was just incredible! Bar and cafe reasonably priced too. Plenty of restaurants nearby to enjoy before or after the show."
