Reviews of Coach Innovations
"I was dreading going 15 hours on a coach journey however the host was friendy. Served hot food drinks etc all very cheap. We had games and films on the tvs. And the chair reclined right back. I would definatley recommend"
"Great trip to Dortmund by g CG ouch to watch Manchester City in the Champions League. Compared to flying it was very economical. The on board service was excellent and kept us fortified. Arrangements were good and the border process was fine. Staff were very knowledgeable and kept us well informed. On board entertainment was great, good films and charging points, comfortable seats and everything pretty much went to plan. Definitely recommend this way of travelling. Slept so well. We went well prepared and made ourselves comfortable. Take a pillow and a blanket as recommended. Thanks for a great trip."
"Having travelled with Coach Innovations from Manchester to Germany to watch Manchester City play Dortmund, I can highly recommend this company and will definitely be traveling with them again. From boarding the coach for the outbound journey to arriving back in Manchester the next day, the service provided was professional yet friendly, the price of drinks and snacks was excellent value, all served to your reserved spacious seat by a very helpful hostess. I can only give the whole experience 5 stars."
"If I could leave 0 stars for this shambolic company I would. I was on the disastrous 4th December trip to Bruges, where we were delayed from the get go, with the pick-up being 40 minutes late. They knowingly picked us up with a faulty coach that had already overheated on its way to our pick-up. There was no heating on the coach & bearing in mind it was -2º outside, the coach was full of freezing people! We got to Dover an hour later than planned, thus missing our crossing. We then had a 2 hour wait until the next crossing, telling us to go to Burger King to bide our time, but it didn't open until 8am, so that wasn't an option. When we were 15 minutes away from the Bruges Christmas market drop-off, our coach slowed to a stop and broke down, surrounding us with the smell of burning oil. Passing cars were pointing at us and within a few minutes, we were surrounded by 4 fire engines and police. But yet still no communication from the coach driver. He was off of the coach in a heartbeat but wouldn't let us off, apparently in case we were hit by passing cars. But it was apparently ok for us to burn to death - I would rather have taken my chances with the passing cars! Unfortunately for me, I also needed to use the loo and asked the driver if I could use the one on the coach, which was the vilest experience of my life. So bad that a fellow passenger took a photo out of sheer disgust. Eventually, we were transferred to another coach and taken to the markets, not arriving until 1.30pm. Knowing that we had to return to the coach for a 5pm departure & with a walk of 20 minutes each way to-and-from the coach/markets, it left us with under 3 hours in Bruges. When we returned to our coach, we were told that it was irreparable & our replacement would take us to Dover, via a random drop-off to a chocolate shop. Upon arrival in Dover, there wasn't a replacement coach for us to finish our journey home, even though they had known of the need for one for 10 hours. We had no choice but to wait in the frigid cold of Dover docks for 50 minutes to await the replacement coach with not one single apology. All in it was a 20 hour day from pick-up to drop-off. A ridiculously long way to go for not even 3 hours and a day of continual disorganisation and lacking any apology. I have since written to Coach Innovations via email detailing this shambolic day, hoping for a response. Nearly 2 weeks on, I am still yet to receive one! Do not use this company, spend the extra and go via Eurostar if anything but to keep your blood pressure down!"
"Avoid at all costs. Get the euro star. Driver told to drive to Bruges 4th dec 2022. Knowing the coach had a problem with engine. It blew up 20 mins from Bruges. No heating on coach from London in -2. Toilet on board was disgusting. Driver didn’t care. I’ve asked for a refund had no response in a week. The whole trip was a nightmare. Didn’t get home until 3.00am Monday morning. The replacement coach drive was taking on his phone from Dover docks. To Hammersmith London. Over two hours. He was talking to his girlfriend who was driving the 2nd coach behind us. This company just don’t care."
