"We too had problems with the keypad but Daniel was fairly quick to come & let us in...Thank-you! Great central location which suited us perfectly but for some reason the only radiator that was working was in the smaller room with the bunkbed everywhere else was freezing... couldn't face standing in the bath for a shower as it was so cold,so a little disappointed."

"Very clean and well presented, comfy bed. my only issue was the keypad for entering the room. seemed a little tricky and took a few attempts. but others thanks for a comfortable stay!"

"Fantastic location and beautiful room with all the amenities to make me feel home from home. My room was up a steep flight of stairs and i arrived at night so it was hard to type in the code as the automatic light kept switching off. Also as a solo traveller, it was disconcerting not being able to lock the room from the inside. I wondered if the security code was changed after each stay. The bed was super comfy and I had a great stay. Fantastic restaurants are a stone’s throw away."

"Pros good for town centre, light airy rooms,great fast contact with Daniel, quite building. Cons not able to lock room from inside (yes it's a key pad so in theory only you have key)a simple bolt on inside door would help. No spare blankets, could not turn on heating,(some people feel the cold more than others) had to contact owner for internet code(that could have been given with key codes) .not so much as a con the front door is fairly heavy/stiff to open (might have been tension spring to wound up) older people than us will have trouble opening . Overall it is a great place to stay rooms large great bathroom kitchen area(not sure if coffee satchets are replaced daily would have preferred coffee rather than latte) but compared with other establishments no 1 on my list"

"A very comfortable stay at No. 31 Castle Gate. The Ossington Suite is very spacious, light, well-kept and quiet. Mia was accommodating & efficient with everything. (Having stayed in a few different places in Newark, I’d call this the best value for money.) I’m sure I’ll be coming back to stay again soon."
