"We got married here on the 28/12, we had a meal the night before and the lady in the restaurant- Rachel, she made everything perfect, she was absolutely amazing the entire night. The room I had was perfect and so was the service all day. Connor was our coordinator and he made sure everything went perfect, I didn’t have to worry about a thing. He answered every question I had and when guests didn’t turn up last minute, he sorted this too. He was so kind and friendly I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after us. All of the staff were so friendly and the food was amazing! The honeymoon suite was beautiful and our breakfast the next morning was the best we’ve had. Thank you so much to you all for making our wedding so special, we can’t thank you enough! From Mr and Mrs Murphy x"

"This is a lovely little hotel! The rooms are a little tired but nevertheless very comfortable. We had a great nights sleep although the heating system is very noisy so no need for an alarm!! What is outstanding about this place is the food! We ate in the bar and the food was absolutely incredible. The duck was quite the best I’ve ever eaten. Cooked to perfection, presented with style and imagination and was delicious. Equally the wild boar burger was amazing and again so tasty! And such an interesting menu to chose from. The waiting staff were efficient and incredibly well mannered and seemed happy in their work. Five stars to the chef and waiting team! Well done - really outstanding food! Definitely worth a trip here to eat fresh, well cooked and beautifully present food at sensible prices."

"Lovely venue for a wedding ! Staff were great but receptionists not so much, one was constantly on her mobile, they were rude and extra money was added to my bill as I had a 3 year old with us which I'd already said how many were stating in my room, 2 adults 2 kids one of the kids needs a cot. I queried this and was met with rudeness, huffs and puffs for it eventually be removed from my bill. My auntie booked a 4 poster bed and paid a lot for the room, and on the day she was put in a standard room regardless. Her room was dust and definitely not what she paid for ! I stayed for 2 nights one night in a single room and another in a family room. Rooms were lovely so can't moan and the honeymoon suit was gorgeous!"
