"Asked for a fairly standard short back and sides and a scissor cut on top but got a 4 up to the top of my head where it then jumps to hair that is about 3 inches in length. Not an offensive haircut for a 16 year old member of a boyband but when you're closer to 30 and work in an office, it is far from ideal. As the main stakeholder in my own hairstyle, I would have liked some forewarning that I was going to leave the shop looking like one half of Jedward. This did not happen however, and the barber lined up the comb along my hairline and with one swoop of his clippers, any hope of having the sides blended with the top of my hair was destroyed, along with my professional reputation for at least the next month. This is my first (and last) time using this barbershop so am not sure if this is a regular barber or just the work experience lad who covers on Sundays. For the barber, I would recommend communicating your plans for people's hair and if you are not capable of doing something that has been requested, simply say so. For potential patrons of this establishment, I would recommend staying away unless you want to look like the other half of Jedward."
