"We were met with a guy called Theo who, on entering, was the most friendly front of house I’ve ever met. He made sure we were comfortable with the temperature on our room and made sure we were warm. I’m so impressed with the effort Theo and then Nathan made to make us feel welcome. As I write this, Theo is up in our room, checking the thermostat. Well done you!!"
"The room itself was very clean and tidy. Small, but at £27 a night in the city centre you can't really complain. The one gripe I had was the pillows. I didn't have a good night's sleep because they just weren't very comfortable. I would stay again I'd just bring my own. No noise at night, friendly reception staff.."
"Great location, friendly staff, clean lobby, corridors, and lifts. The room was expensive for what it was (£135pn). Had a room without windows, which was a small box with a shower and toilet. The room lacked anywhere to put clothing and luggage, only featuring two coat hangers attached to the wall. The toilet smelled strongly of urine. The bed only had two wafer thin pillows but was clean and comfortable. The walls were paper thin, and the guest in the room next door had a screaming nightmare. Noisy guests returning at 4:30am woke everyone up. I definitely wouldn't stay here again and would pay a little extra for a peaceful sleep. Parking was heavily discounted at the nearby ncp."
"When I was waiting for my taxi in the morning, after checking out, on the pavement there was a male pigeon engaged in his courtship ritual toward a nice lady pigeon. Unfortunately despite his best efforts, puffing out his chest magnificently and dragging his fanned-wide tail about on the floor, she spurned his advances and wandered off to continue foraging for breakfast. I stayed at this hotel in a last-minute booking after I moved house and was unexpectedly unable to book transport until the next day. The room was small and without windows but that was what I expected, both from the price and the fact that it was described as such on the website when I was booking. The front desk staff were helpful and very accommodating to the fact that I arrived very late and checked out very early."
"If you are looking for a conveniently placed hotel to get your head down with no frills then look no further. The hotel is rated 3 stars and that is what it is, that's not a bad thing, but some people seem to have unrealistic expectations and will expect The Ritz. Check in was easy, room was clean, TV worked, shower worked, toilet worked, staff polite. Would of been nice to have some tea/coffee facilities, but it wasn't the end of the world. So in a nutshell +Good location +Good prices +Clean room + Staff polite and helpful +AC worked well + Shower good Minor points -AC worked well, but a tad noisy, although that didn't bother me -No Tea/coffee facilities -Only 2 hangers (OK for one person, but not two)"
