"Generally not worth the money, skinfade was way higher than asked (and shown), and uneven, so many corrections had to be done resulting in it being so high and even at the end is unequal. Asked for about 0.5 inch off the front at most and got 2 inches, but he had cut a bit it's too late, so fairly unrecoverable after the first bit of the fringe/front has been chopped. Wouldn't visit again, which is unfortunate for the high cost, expected a better haircut. Don't think the central location justifies the price when there are better local places for the same price. The only upside was the hospitality was very friendly and offered me a drink etc. and staff were chatty."

As a frequent visitor to London and having experienced weeks in between haircuts while traveling, I'm happy to have found Micheal and his team for my out of control hair needs. Firstly, if you're looking for a scissors only cut, you're in luck as Michael is not only gifted in the traditional art of barbering but also the talent of skilled scissors work. As someone who doesn't use clippers, it was hard to find a spot to allay my anxiety of getting a jacked up hair cut. Add on top the cost (32£), it's a no brainer compared to the 80£+ that I was quoted at higher end salons. Michael is personable without being all up in your business. His work is quite efficient as he was able to finish my cut in less than an hour - well under his original estimate even. You can truly tell he enjoys his craft and the passion he has for his business comes through authentically. The shop was well organized, designed and clean. With the return to work trends, his regulars are coming in less frequently. This business is way too good to not support. Come on in for a great cut and uplift a deserving team and business."
