"I had a protein treatment at this salon last year. I prebooked it on their website but the owner seemed surprised when I walked in. The treatment itself was good. All of my problems are due to their pricing issues. Firstly, on the salon website I had paid a deposit of around £20 when I booked, assuming this would be taken out of my full price. If was not. Secondly, the price for the treatment was stated to be around £65 but I was charged £80 as I had long hair which I did not know would happen, it was not transparent on their website or before the appointment. Thirdly, the hairdresser started trimming my hair out of nowhere when I had not asked for it, she did not explain it was an extra charge and then she charged me £20 extra for the trim. I was asked to pay £100 at the appointment. I said that I had paid £20 deposit and the owner told me it was not included. £120 in total. I asked for a receipt and received a piece of paper with the price written on it and no other details. I ended up paying but I will never go back and I now warn people against this salon. It's a shame."

"I can not recommend this Salon enough!!! I’ve visited HK Salon twice over the past couple of months, the first time I got the protein treatment and most recently got a Balayage done. The staff are very friendly And Khadija (owner) is not only passionate in what she does but she genuinely cares about her clients’ hair and wouldn’t do anything if she felt it would cause more damage to the hair, which certainly says a lot about her. I can honestly say I trust her with my hair and will be going back again soon. I also purchased the oil, she makes, I use for myself and kids to help restore, repair and grow damaged hair..not only does it smell great but it feels very light and I’m looking forward to seeing the results."
