Reviews
"I cannot fault the service given at the eye clinic as after arriving the appointments flow without any or little waiting. All staff are pleasant and efficient. However this cannot be said of the administration department of the clinic . At my last appointment on March 18th the doctor had to adjust my eye drops and told me that the hospital would inform my doctors surgery .When I ran out of the drops that I received from the hospital pharmacy I contacted my surgery they had not heard from the hospital so I had to arrange my new prescription myself. The doctor also said he would like to see me in 3 months . It is now almost 6 months since my hospital visit and I have heard nothing! I expect that I will have to ring and organise this myself . The administration department are letting down what is a good and efficient clinic."
"Appointment keeps getting put back i have had telephone appointments for the last 3 years i have high pressure in my eyes and have drops,my gp wanted to cancel the drops because i hadnt been seen in person for so long ,the consultants tells me to go to my opticans to get a pressure check ,they do them reluctantly as they shouldnt be doing the hospitals job!then they refuse to send them to Chesterfield so i have to send a letter ,its starting to leave me extremley stressed ,reception says to ring if i have sight problems ,if i do then its probably a bit late i am told they are 2 years behind with appointments ,my husband attends the derby royal quarterly not had 1 missed appointment shocking service"
"I would like to thank everyone involved in my recent cateract operation including those staff at Balbough hospital. It nay well be an operation that is done many times a day but for me, as an individual, you have given me the gift of sight. I cannot thank you all enough."
"Dr Sharma very rude and abrupt. Was literally no help and had no tact whatsoever. Worst experience with a doctor ever."
