"I had booked a month in advance to have my hair coloured and cut and 5 minutes before my appointment, they cancelled on me due to the hairdresser being unwell. While I appreciate that being unwell cannot be helped, such short notice left me high and dry. In particular, the person who called was very unsympathetic given that I had arranged childcare to be able to attend the appointment and therefore, it would not be easy to reschedule. In fact, I would go so far as to say that she was very rude and did not apologise or even try and see whether some kind of alternative could be arranged for the day or shortly thereafter. I ended up calling around other salons in East Dulwich and while I couldn’t obtain another appointment, the people I spoke to at these salons were warm and helpful - a few even said they could do elements of my desired appointment on the day (they couldn’t accommodate colour due to the fact that my skin test had been with the galleon) or put me on a cancellation list as they appreciated my predicament. Given the lack of people skills demonstrated and the unwillingness to try and help to find some form of solution, I would not trust this salon and will not be making another appointment."
