"Had my two children booked for a haircut today and was running late so called to explain this and they told us they would do their best to accommodate us which is fair enough and was appreciated . When we arrived ten minutes late - the brunette hairdresser was quite rude and abrupt- rushing us - and made my younger child scared and retract (He has some difficulties). It kind of put us on edge and thankfully the lady that was booked to cut their hair -a blonde lady with glasses- was extremely nice and gentle and great with our two boys. It turned the whole thing around as at that point I wasn't sure whether to walk out. When it came to my youngest who is two (and has some difficulties) getting a cut - he started to cry and get upset and we went into the back room. She started shaving his hair and he was fine and then started to cry a lot. She did her best to get some sort of even cut which was not easy - and was impressive to say the least. She was excellent. My one issue is that gentlemen came in as she was finishing the sides to tell us we had to stop as my son was crying which I found very embarrassing and uncomfortable. I know my son and what he can and cant handle especially given his extra needs. He also had to have his hair cut due to medical reasons at the back of his head and when it gets long we cannot put the treatment on. I understand it might be distressing for the brief minute it takes but to come in like that seemed quite odd to me. I have read a few reviews where people say the same thing - and that they were told to stop. Perhaps (only a suggestion) allocating slots specifically to children with special needs - that may be a bit more challenging - could help us in the future and others in our position. Alternatively suggesting a quiet time when we wouldn't cause 'distress' to others to book appointments? Sadly our child does find almost everything overwhelming to an extent and we cannot just not cut his hair or do these things for medical and health reasons. The reason I gave 4 stars was I do completely understand the point of view- being busy and distressing others is the last thing we would want to do, and the lady that did cut our kids hair was amazing - went above and beyond to accommodate and help us. The cars are awesome and the lollipops they give out are a great touch. Also- the cuts themselves turned out fabulous in the end."

"I booked an appointment for my 2 years old son. Although the little cars were looking amazing my son didn’t want to sit in it and the alternative to sit on my lap was offered, which was great. Jodi took very good care of him. At the beginning she used just scissors as we never used clipper before. My son was so relaxed and at the end Jodi used the clipper which i never believed that he will stay calm for it. We were placed in the second room, which is a bit more quiet and blue (that helped a lot as well because is my son’s favourite colour). At the end Jodi asked permission if she could give my son a lollipop, which I appreciated. Very good experience, I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back. Thank you Jodi!"
