"Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the service and care at this hair salon. The lady who did my hair was not trained at all to do anything. From combing my hair to blow drying my hair to straightening it. She was very rough with my hair while combing it through. She blow dried my hair in such a terrible way taking no care to blow dry section by section but rather using the blow drying comb attached to the dryer to just blow dry large random chunks of hair which of course hurt! While straightening my hair the lady kept burning my scalp too. Just was not good enough service at all! I asked for a texture release and left with a texture release however the process and care to get it all done was horrid. I would never pay money to get a texture release done in that way again. As a side note my gown was filthy, the salon could do with a good clean all around looked quite tatty."

"I can't say that I would recommend this place. Earlier this month, I went to Hiikuss - recommended to me by a friend - to bleach and dye my hair for the first time. I mentioned the colour I wanted before my appointment and showed the stylist a picture of the colour day of and during the appointment. The exact colour wasn't achieved. But because this was my first time bleaching and dying my hair I thought the colour would darken to achieve the look I wanted. The very next day I called Hiikuus so that I book an appointment to re-do the colour. It's now been 3 weeks - I've called multiple times and left messages to which I have received no reply. So it's less about the fact that I did not get the colour I wanted and more the fact that this business is now "unreachable." And as this was my first-time bleaching my hair, having no follow up, no conversations about after hair care, etc has been disappointing. For this I wouldn't recommend this salon to someone looking to do anything permanent with their hair, especially if it's your first time. 5/10 experience."

"Dissatisfied and Disappointed. Booked my first Texture release appointment with hopes of leaving the hairdresser with results similar to what I’ve seen online, and I can honestly say I could have produced the same results myself at home. I made effort to be on time for my morning appointment only to be made to wait 50+ mins with no apology for the delay. The lady who did my hair was lovely, but very careless with the hair tongs/straighteners as she burnt my scalp countless times and was very rough with my hair. She also yanked my hoop piercing out of my ear with the hairdryer comb, which to me shows lack of care and diligence. I’ve had that hoop for years and have never had any issues until then. My experience reminded me of why I avoid going to salons for as long as possible. She also asked if I wanted a trim, but did not disclose that there’d be an additional charge which is poor practice. I’m honestly agitated at how much money I spent on this treatment and annoyed at myself for not reading previous Google reviews. Do not come here for a texture release!!"

"I went here twice. The first time my experience was perfect. Second time I went for a wash and trim. My hair is now damaged and my curls are limp. My hair is stringy and disgusting. If you're going here and you care about your natural hair do not go. If you don't care about the health of your hair then go ahead. But I repeat if you do care, be mindful!"
