"I’ve thought for a while about leaving a negative review, but I came to the conclusion that the way Alex approached the situation was extremely unprofessional and other people should be weary also of using her services. I first went to this salon around January 2022, all went ok and my hair was nice and healthy. I had a balayage service. I visited Alex’s salon again at the end of October 2022 and I asked for the balayage colour to be redone closer to the roots due to the regrowth over the last 10 months. Alex did initially start the service but while doing sections of my hair other people came in to the salon and it got busier. At this point the beautician in the salon (who I’ve never seen before and usually does eyebrows, eyelashes etc.) also started working on my hair. I was not aware that beauticians are also hair dressers, but I was hoping for the best. It’s safe to say that my hair ended up being a disaster (1 week before I going on holiday) and when I reached out to Alex to complain I was fobbed off and told that my hair grew too fast and that’s why I have uneven roots and bad technique on my hair? Didn’t really make sense to be, but she did end up fixing my crown area only. She also told me that it would’ve been too costly for her to fix my entire head of hair, but if she had done it right the first time this wouldn’t have been the case. In the end, I paid another salon more money to fix Alex’s mistake. Overall, wouldn’t recommended her to anyone again. Highly disappointed in the service received and the customer service following."

"My eyebrows look the best they've looked in years. The lady did such a great job and shaped them exactly as I requested. At £8 for threading, at first I thought it was a bit pricey but once I looked in the mirror I felt that I got my money's worth. Thank you "

"I took my 8 year old daughter here in a Sunday for a haircut. She's had long beautiful hair. I told the lady we would like some soft layers. She blow-dryed her hair and it looked alright. The next day I braided her hair as I always do for school and this is how her hair looks. It's chopped really badly. The "layers" are too short and too thick. It looks terrible when it's put up or braided. I regret going here more than anything. I went back and I explained to them and showed the photos and they said to me I'm wrong and this is normal for layers to look like this. One of them was very rude and I had to tell her to be kinder if possible. They ruined my daughter's hair, then they rude with me... Anyway, they offered to bring her back to "fix" but no thank you. I'm not risking it again. I would rather pay for a professional to try and fix it up...."
