"I hesitated before leaving this review because I don't like leaving negative reviews. But I did not have a good experience at this salon. I felt extremely negatively judged by the stylist due to my hair apparently being "really tangled", and also because I don't use any products on it. I have curly hair so I don't tend to brush my hair or it gets super frizzy... so it gets quite tangled. The stylist mentioned this at least three times. I don't use product on it because I'm not someone who has ever been particularly preoccupied with my hair and I don't actually care that much about it. It's not a priority for me, unlike for some. I actually felt close to tears at one point which I've never experienced before whilst getting my hair cut. It's supposed to be enjoyable, rather than make you feel bad about yourself. I also asked for a side fringe to be cut which wasn't done and to be fair I probably should have mentioned this at the time but by that point I had forgotten/just wanted to leave. I was fairly happy with how my hair looked in the end in terms of the styling so I'm not saying the stylist didn't do a good job in some aspects, but I didn't feel good after the appointment which was something I didn't really bargain on, and don't appreciate spending so much money for. On the plus side, they had a very cute dog roaming around the salon but generally, I'm afraid it wasn't a positive experience."

"Went to Heads and Tails today for a hair cut and colour with Athina. I used to go to her at Rush Ludgate. When she moved to H&T, I had to follow her. Athina is a talented hairstylist! She's great at her job - she knows my hair, she knows what I like and what suits my hair, face shape and skin tone. I trust her 100% coz she gets it spot on each time! I leave the salon feeling like a million dollars every single time! And I discovered Viola today at H&T! Best head massage I've ever had - she's good! Would highly recommend Athina and Viola. Actually would highly recommend H&T! The salon has a lovely ambience, everyone is super friendly and nice. It's really close to Archway stn. You won't be disappointed - they know what they're doing!"

"Always a friendly welcome and excellent service. I've been to pricier salons in the area and not been as happy with the outcome, my cut and colour is always spot on. The stylists are knowledgeable and the Kevin Murphy products are a real treat. Most definitely recommend."
