"Jason hogan is a master of colour! A true hair wizard, it can be easy to find technically proficient colourists but not everyone has that magic skill, the ability to intuit what will bring out your features and mesh with your vibe. After almost two decades of dealing with how my hair behaves to dye and observing how colourist’s work, I could tell instantly in my consultation’s that Jason is confident and super switched on to the actual colour placement. If like me you’re looking for a tweak to grown out silver hair look no further, there was such an embracing of my natural colour and focus on enhancing it. My highlights were toned to perfection and he achieved the same tone as my natural grey/ silver which other stylists have either ballsed up or told me was impossible. Jason also happens to be a joy to be around, he glows with passion for his craft and is genuinely excited about what he is creating. I also had a lovely chat with another colourist after and the assistant who washed my hair and applied toner was also lovely. The salon has a relaxed vibe without loud thumping music, there is no try hard here, no need… the results speak for themselves. If you are in any doubt, know that a service here is worth every penny. Also note that the initial quoted rates are all you pay for, I’ve been to other places before where you end up paying more of it takes longer so it can end up being a false economy. This is the temple of super efficiency and supernatural hair!"

"Really cool salon which delivers 5 star services and impeccably clean. Have always found staff to be professional and helpful and have always had great experiences. I must make particular mention of the fabulous colourist that is Jason Hogan. I am very particular about my colour and Jason is one of the very few people that I trust to do my colour implicitly. We’ve gone on several journeys over the years with my hair and he’s brought me from deep multidimensional brunettes to beachy blonde moments. Not only are my colours custom made but they blend seamlessly. His recommendation of products not only maintain my colour in between visits but have transformed the health and integrity of my hair."

"Josh Wood home colouring did not at all cover my grey hair. It was applied using the enclosed tube and then spread with a brush, and left on for 45 minutes. The photos were taken the same day, after I dried my hair. The lack of grey coverage happened with the previous JW box I had purchased.. I thought maybe I had not left it on long enough or did not apply it well enough. I used the medium brown. It is an expensive product and I will not buy it again. I find the organic brand at my local shop works much better at covering the grey. Josh Wood has a great reputation but my experience has not been good. Grey coverage very poor and disappointing."

"Dan is a fabulous colourist & made me feel very comfortable getting my hair done with him. He understood perfectly what I wanted and I am completely in love with my new colour! I booked for a half head but Dan was very accommodating when I decided last minute I’d like a full head of highlights done. I was quite nervous and really wanted to avoid that striped look as I have naturally curly hair & have ended up with it in the past. I could not be more pleased with the way it looks! So golden warm & beautifully bouncy, Dan made sure to keep the health of my curls. The salon is so lovely and relaxed, such a great vibe and unlike lots of salons who say you must have a blow dry with your colour they were very chilled & happy for me to style and dry my hair myself. Such a relaxing, enjoyable experience including a lovely head massage from Matthias (probably spelt this wrong!). The salon is also so nicely decorated inside and out & very clean. Thank you very much Dan you are a superstar colourist & so deserve your promotion and thanks Josh Wood Colour, I’ll definitely be back :)"
