"I came in today for a wash/cut/blow-dry. Although I did not have an appointment, I was seen pretty quickly by the lovely Amina. She’s amazing and cut my hair exactly at the length I desired. Really good experience overall. I wear a headscarf and the salon accommodates for women who may not want to show their hair in public as they have a “discreet” section. 10/10 will definitely come again!"

"I visited the Snip and Snape salon last Thursday and while I was there I showed the staff member Tatiana a colour I was interested in. My hair was a ginger colour at the time I expressed that I wanted to go to a dark ginger. I even showed her a picture. She advised it would look nice with a darker root blended into this colour. I trusted her as a professional hairdresser. Once she washed my hair I realised that my hair was extremely dark and looked nothing like the colour that I had asked for. My godmother and I explained that this was not the colour that I had wanted. Tatiana said that once I washed my hair once Or twice I should see the results. I had no choice and have washed my hair twice and my hair remains dark brown. I paid a lot of money for my hair to be brown instead of ginger and much darker than it was in the first place …. It’s heartbreaking. I had my hair done professionally two months ago, bleaching my hair to get it a ginger colour for this hair salon to throw all that hard work and money down the drain. To add insult to injury when I explained the situation to the manager I received accolades of how professional his staff is with no consideration of any compensation or improving my situation. I am so disappointed with the unprofessional treatment in general."
