"I went to Val’s with the intention of fixing some poorly cut hair and Bianca did a wonderful job of fixing it. I’ve only gotten compliments since I’ve gotten this haircut from Bianca. They have a separate hijab friendly room which I really appreciate. Their services are modestly priced and absolutely worth it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a haircut!"

"I dyed my hair there one time with Lohan and the service was great! However, I went for a second time and I don’t think I’ll be coming again. I booked my appointment with a specific hairdresser, only to find out on the day that he wasn’t there. As I needed my hair dyed that day, I accepted to go with someone else. The person was really nice but she kept asking the other hairdressers if what she’s doing is okay and how to do it, which made me feel very uncomfortable and like she doesn’t know what she does. In the end it looked okay, but it’s not the colour I wanted at all. I specifically said I don’t want an ashy blonde and that’s the colour I got in the end. It doesn’t suit my face well and I felt like she had no idea what I actually wanted. I’ll be looking for another salon."

"I've been going to Val for waxing for years and she is fast, efficient and affordable. Val is also really friendly, always on time for appointments, and is quick to find a booking time that suits your schedule. I recently moved far away from East London, but I still come back just to see her for waxing. i can't imagine going anywhere else now!"
