"Only 3 stars for this hairdresser unfortunately. I went for my wedding cut, as my usual hairdresser was fully booked for that week so I took a big leap of faith. I waited almost 1 hour to be served, as Treatwell apparently double booked the salon. I didn’t have much to do after so I was fine to wait. They even offered to do the nails for me while waiting but I declined, although I found it a nice gesture. My problem here is that the owner of the shop at one point told me “You should cut the hair a bit shorter, with these long hair you look like a sick child”. I knew my hair didn’t look the best, hence why I was at the hairdresser but never in my life I would have thought the hairdresser could have taken the liberty of telling me such thing. I know that sometime hairdressers behave like old time friends and by all means she could have been honest and maybe say “ you know, I think shorter hair look better on you, what do you think?” but this didn’t happen and I left the salon with a bitter aftertaste. The hair was nice in the end, hence why the 3 stars and i liked they offered me the nails service, but I think they should review the way they talk to clients as such we remain, clients. I could never imagine in my job to say the same thing to one of my clients and these sorts of comments have a big impact on someone with low self esteem. I’ll go back to my usual hairdresser and make sure to book her in advance if necessary."

They were very attentive and couldn’t do enough to make sure I was happy with the colour and cut. "Worst and most traumatic salon experience I’ve ever had. Visited this salon earlier this year for a full face wax (strip wax). It was Ivi that did my waxing and I told her I had sensitive skin and that my skin had been ripped in the past by another salon. She didn’t take any precautions or advise me that (as I now know from a more competent salon I’ve since been going to regularly) that hot wax would have been more suitable for sensitive skin. Nope. She went ahead with the waxing and RIPPED all of the skin off from my chin and upper lip. I now know that she should have offered me hot wax instead of strip wax, been going to another salon regularly for the past 6 months with no problems at all. Also, when I went back to the salon to discuss what she had done to my face, the woman stood and argued with me in her salon and took 0 responsibility for what she had done to my face. Absolutely awful salon, awful customer service - do not go here or send your poor daughters here to get their first wax as these people do not know what they’re doing. Seems like they just let anyone open a salon these days. Disgraceful and I will be spreading the word about my treatment here. Avoid avoid avoid. I wish I could give 0 stars!"
