"If I could give this salon ZERO stars, I would do. The stylist, Tina, was rude and incompetent. I walked in, having never been before, she looked up and ignored me… so I took a seat myself. When she finished with the previous client she continued to ignore until I said “Hi, I’m here for my 11.30 booking”, at which point she said “well aren’t you going to introduce yourself then”. She then argued about me with what I wanted for my hair (just an easy trim), and I had to ask her twice to “please be more gentle” when washing my hair because she was actually hurting me. I also asked her if she could turn the water temperature down as it burnt my head, and Tina hadn’t bothered to ask if it was ok. After the hair wash, I asked if anyone else could cut my hair as I really didn’t like how tough and uncaring she was. She said no, so I asked for the managers number, at which point her attitude went so downhill, she started calling me aggressive (I hadn’t been, although she deserved it, as I was too scared of upsetting her if she was going to have scissors near my hair). She hacked my hair with a hairbrush, without applying conditioner, so I got up and walked out with soaking wet hair, very upset, and walked straight into a salon around the corner. I did speak to the manager, who said he would get back to me. Two days later I haven’t heard anything still. I’ve never walked out a hair salon before. AVOID THIS SALON, avoid Tina."

"The lady in the shop was really rude, unhelpful and basically kicked me out of the store. This is the first bad review I have written publicly like this because I don't want to give non-franchise establishments a hard time, but I felt a deep need to make my experience known to others, as to save them from terrible and personally-attacking service. I have NEVER done anything to my hair before, and wanted to go to a 'higher-end' hair stylist to help me get a new look (I have dark hair and wanted a little Summer change!). I went in the day before my appointment to talk to the stylist, say what I wanted, and she said I didn't need a patch test but to show her a picture of a style I liked on the appointment day as I didn't have one at the time. The next day, I come to my appointment, show her the pictures of different highlighted hairstyles, and she quite literally mocks me, saying "those aren't highlights, that's bleach' -- to which I apologise because I didn't know the difference, and that the image captions say "#HairHighlights" so I thought it was an OK reference... anyway, she says I haven't done enough research, that "I am young and clearly just saw pictures online" that I wanted to copy (following a 'trend' instead of having personal taste), which is insulting - I was paying £100+ for highlights for a professional stylist to guide me. I am not fussy about my hair, but to be mocked and deemed 'stupid' saying I am just following internet trends was shocking. The stylist said she would not "waste her time" with me and refused to have a conversation with me when I tried to discuss -- I told her I am not a professional like she is and just have never done anything to my hair before but I did know I wanted it to be lighter for Summer and that's all. I didn't go to hair school, she did, so how was I supposed to know? She was really rude and condescending about it when I asked. Thank god I got my money back. I hope others who go into her store are also hair experts because clearly she isn't there to help those of us who are new to using hair as a way to redo your image."

"Was looking for a place to get my hair cut with decent prices and found this place. Very close to kings cross. Interior was gorgeous. Tina my hair stylist did a fantastic job. I was amazed by the good quality services and my hair looks fantastic after I had a bleaching incident last year. Would 10/10 recommend I will definitely be getting my hair cut there from now on.
