"Friendly and professional hair salon service for predominantly African and Caribbean hair. The owner Freta is a very patient and understanding stylist, who tries her best to please. Freta employs a number of different staff members who all specialise in different types of hair techniques such as single braiding, weave extension etc, all staff members equally good at engaging with customers. The salon is clean with a positive vibe. The negative point of the salon is that it is extremely small and somewhat outdated but it's pitfalls are overlooked because you always leave the salon feeling happy with your service. Freta's husband has a hair and beauty shop a few yards away from the salon where products can be purchased at a competitive price to other stores."

"I came in for a trim and treatment and I left with 5 different lengths across my head. Front is long, middle is medium and back is short, AND to make it worse, it's also lopsided. I can't wear my hair out like usual and will have to get a very short cut wait for it to grow out and anyone with curls knows how long that is when you factor in shrinkage. I think the cheap price might be why she has good reviews because her hair mask was very cheap and left my hair feeling dry, I had to use my clarifying shampoo to get it out and retreat it. I'm ashamed to go back to my regular hairdresser after this because she will be so shocked but honestly I need her right now."
