Canberra Dental Practice

"My 16 years old little brother got scale and polish done with their hygienist, I was charged £30, but when I done research, I found out that as he is underage they were not suppose to charge him, I also contacted Health watch HF to confirm this and they agreed that I was not supposed to be charged. When I called the clinic to discuss this, the receptionists didn't want to hear my concerns. I tried to contact the seniors directly through email, however, both the email on their website and on google were invalid. On top of that they do not state anywhere on their website that they charge children, the prices stated are all for adults. The receptionist is disgustingly rude, full of attitude and no professionalism, she is also the dental assistant. They are absolute scammers and judging from other reviews, not so great at their profession either. I would like a valid email address, I do not want to discuss this issue through the phone and I want my full refund."

"It's been 2 months since my husband went to this dental practice. He wanted to remove a wisdom tooth (for braces), after that he waited 2 weeks just to register there. After he registered, he waited several weeks for a consultation from a doctor, who in turn said that he needed a picture of his jaw and permission from another dentist (who will put braces in the future) to pull out a tooth. My husband sent everything that needed to them by e-mail, after that more than a month passed and no one answered him. We got tired of waiting and I called and the receptionist did not give a specific answer, she said wait and then just hung up the phone, I called back and she said wait and she'll call back in a second but no one called. I am very disappointed that the people who work in this dental practice treat patients so unscrupulously!"

"Services are very effective and professional. Sometimes phoning in to book can be slightly an issue due to communication however once you are in have always felt really pleased with the level of skill and experience of the dentists/hygienists."

"Fantastic service. Very professional and careful. Particularly given some of the strange people they have to deal with. every time I go there, there appears to be someone being aggressive on the phone. I'm quite nosy so I notice they seem to have a lot of people just not turning up to appointments. That would bother me a lot if I were them, but they always handle with professionalism. My teeth have never been better taken care of. I wouldn't normally review, but after seeing some of the 1 stars on here I felt it reflected poorly against what I genuinely consider to be one of the best services I have received."

"Had a lovely experience at my first appointment away from my usual dentist, so was a little nervous as they mightn't be aware of all my dental history etc. Staff were super polite and friendly, even let me have an XRay as I was worrying about a hole that I thought I had which was above ad beyond. Very happy with my new dentist and can't wait to go back for my next appointment!"
