"Both times I have attended this hospital, I have been left waiting over 45 minutes for my appointment, only to be told by the doctor/nurse that they had been waiting for me and the receptionists hadn't informed them I had arrived. I might have been unlucky but it's not good enough of reception to overlook this (on two occasions) when it's an nerve wracking wait as it is. The care itself is good when you are finally seen!"
"Dr Rimouche kindly replaced my 10yr old breast implants, the right implant was quite deformed & due to further breastfeeding & weight loss they had lost their volume significantly. It was important to me that they look natural & that he just filled the loose skin that was already there. I was blown away with Dr Rimouche, from start to finish he made me feel very comfortable about the entire procedure & checked the overall health of both my breasts & old implants before hand. For me the phonecall the evening before the surgery from him to ask me personally how I am feeling & to ease any last minute nerves was a lovely touch & of course you guessed it, the after care was the best! Dr Rimouche is not only a lovely doctor but also from my own personal research he is one of the best! As you can see from the before & after pics he has given me a new lease of life with the new implants & the shape is just gorgeous. They look so natural without a bra - & are just absolutely fabulous in a bra or bikini!!!!"
"Consultation expensive and had far better care from my GP. Just told basically to keep on taking the tablets and I wasn’t first or last with the problem. My real area of concern not in consultants remit, see other consultants for pain management and anything else, in a lot of pain and desperate for help. Very upset and disappointed. Waste of time and hard earned money. Also asked to pay £11 for a speculum if one was required!?"
"My partner has undergone 2 operations at the Spire this year, one NHS and one private. The care he received was equally excellent both times. I saw a notice for private GP appointments on one visit. I have been unable to get an answer on the phone, nor access the e consult for weeks at my surgery. We are not allowed to visit the surgery to make an appointment. In desperation I phoned the Spire, made an appointment to see a GP. I have seen Dr Coogan twice, had extensive blood tests, had all my questions answered and given advice to follow up. I could talk to him, felt very much at ease and do not regret one penny. This is what I will do in future, he is fantastic. I am lucky that I can afford to pay for a certain amount of treatment, and I shouldn't have to do this. But I am 78. It is quality of life, and worth every penny."
"Earlier this month I spent 3 days in the Spire Hospital having a Hip Replacement. I didn’t know what to expect but I could not have been more pleasingly surprised. From the minute I walked through the entrance at the Spire Hospital everybody whom I came into contact with greeted me with a smile and reassuring words. I found everybody helpful and friendly. Everything was well ordered, things happened when they were supposed to and all went like clockwork. I had no misgivings or reservations as all my questions were answered fully and this gave me confidence. The Surgeon and Anaesthetist came to see me individually before the procedure and explained what would happen. All went well, and the following two days I was in the care of the general hospital staff and all played their parts to the full. The nurses, auxiliaries and caterers all worked together to ease any discomfort that I may have been experiencing. Eating meals here was an enjoyable experience. The menu was varied and wholesome and the food when it came was nourishing and presented in a pleasing manner. Finally I must say a special ‘Thank You’ to the Physiotherapists. The first one explained the rudiments of my exercises and what I would be doing to get back to normality, and Jenny who patiently worked with me for two days showing me how to use the crutches and behaviours which would hasten my recovery. I am now at home on the road to recovery, carrying out all my exercises and best practices as shown to me by the Hospital Staff. I am indebted to the professionalism and kindness from all the people I came into contact at the Spire. Thank You very much."
