Reviews of The Regency Hotel, Solihull
"Really friendly place to stay. The bar and restaurant refurbishment is lovely and food is good too. Nothing wrong with rooms but a little dated, so looking forward to them getting an update soon. Only strange thing is the shower, it is kind of impossible to get fully under it due to the way it is located on the wall. Looking forward to my next stay in a couple of weeks."
"Stayed here for 5 nights during a busy work trip and it was delightful. The staff were lovely from the first contact at breakfast to a late dinner including several of the chefs who were happy to talk about their menu. Had two fantastic members of staff, Becky and Grace, who were gems all week and really made me feel at home! The breakfasts were decent, with the chefs happy to make extra items. The dinners were great, loved the pork belly! The gym/pool was nothing special but had all the basics and I used it most day. Rooms were decent."
"It's a newly owned business from the one we all know. I've had two nights accommodation and although the rooms have yet to be fully refunded the bar and dinner area are now quite fantastic with good service and quality food. I'd definitely recommend popping in and making your own mind up. Also noted themed evenings with quiz nights and live music taking place."
"Had to come down from Manchester to see a veterinary specialist round the corner from here, so just really needed a dog friendly place to sleep. What a lovely place this is. The dog was allowed in the bar area and we had a Sunday roast, absolutely fabulous. I had forgot that Yorkshire puddings were meant to taste like that. The rooms were lovely and I got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was lovely, everything you could want The Brassiere is so opulent, if I was local I would definitely be in there alot Looks like they have got some good Christmas events coming up as well, Gladly I don’t have to come back to that part of the world as my dog is better. But if I did I would definitely by staying here again at this little gem The staff were all friendly and couldn’t do enough So glad I hadn’t picked a big chain hotel"
