"I fully recommend Holocene where I have now gone on two occasions: once for something minor and again for something much more major - a leaking water pump and loss of antifreeze requiring diagnostics and repair. Their communication and service are excellent. They kept me in the picture with the diagnostics, were realistic on the timing of the repair and turned my car around within 36 hours at a time when I was back to back with meetings requiring my car and therefore juggling around meetings to fit in with the repair. "I initially took the car in for a power steering pipe repair - of course they added extra jobs bringing to cost up to £500. (Bearing in mind I have my car serviced regularly from a trustworthy garage) 2 weeks after my first repair with Holocene, my car broke down on a motorway. An AA mechanic checked it over and wrote a report stating the water pump needed replacing. I took it to them to do, and they tell me I also need a thermostat housing and fan replacement, costing over £1,118!!! I asked for only the water pump to be done, and when I picked it up, I was warned not to drive too far! I got home and looked under the bonnet, and they had cut the hose pipe! I have reported this to the police, and am taking it further!"
