"I arrived 30 minutes early as I had not been to garage before, the staff were friendly & professional and helped me to find wheel unlocking key. My tyres were fitted & complete in 90 minutes looking really good. Thank you all at Halfords. I am very happy with tyre service."

"Brilliant service from Danny and Phillip. Booked a replacement tyre as I believed I had a puncture, but they found that the issue was not with the tyre. Great service - honest and trustworthy."

"Update: Just had my car checked by my local garage today who told me there is nothing wrong with it! I feel very let down by Halfords who are meant to be a trusted company which has left me not wanting to return! I unfortunately joined their premium club which I’ll be stuck paying for the whole year because I can’t cancel it! I was very reluctant to write this review as one of the guys that works there is really friendly but the other one is very quiet doesn’t seem to want to talk much which is not great for being in a customer service job. At first I went for one tyre and wheel alignment they was very helpful in getting that sorted as it turned out to be more than just alignment and I ended up with a invoice after that for £262 to fix that issue. Then I needed to re MOT my car for my insurance which passed but ended up with a list of advisories which baffled me because none of the MOT’s before (previous owners) had any of these listed and considering the last one was only done in September 2022 with a pass and no advisories whatsoever seemed really odd. Anyways I got the invoice for those works and I was so shocked at how much they was charging that I actually cried. I’m a mum and I only work part time so having a total bill coming in at over £900 just didn’t sit right with me so I am now getting a second opinion because it’s left me feeling very upset and anxious and not knowing who to trust."

"Will never use again. Took my car here for the 1st time for a mot. It required just over £100 worth of parts / labour to pass the mot. I got this done and a few weeks later got a constant knocking noise coming from the front of the car. Took it to my regular garage for him to find it was from the work Halfords had done and not tightened up properly. Was told by him I’d paid over the odds for their original work aswell. Paid £43 of my own money to have Halfords shoddy work put right and was without a car for days. Contacted Halfords online to complain about my experience to find their online customer service is just as bad as in branch. Barely got a reply without having to keep chasing. Then got a voicemail from the branch asking to call them back. Did this to be told no one in that day knows about it and I’ll get called back. This never happened so I guess they just ignore problems they’ve created hoping they’ll go away. Disgraceful service and will not be returning in future. Will be going to the motoring ombudsman once the required time has passed to get my money back. AVOID!!!!!"

"Bought set of 4 tyres online. I took my car to Southfields branch . They put 2 different tyres in the front and 2 old stock tyres at the rear . Only realised when I took the car to a petrol station to clean the tyres which was left with excessive tyre paste. Rear tyres were literally white . I called immediately and asked them for an explanation but they blamed their tyre supplier. It was my first experience with Halfords. I think it’s the last time. They don’t accept liability but they try to challenge it. Dissatisfied and highly disappointed. I would not recommend."
