"Since l moved to the area Soul has been my go hairdresser. All the staff are friendly and efficient and either happy to chat or just crack on. Offer a wide range of services, including hot towel shaves, nose/ear hair removal etc. Only issue is because they're good it can get busy and you might have to wait. Try and go at off peak times!"

"The thing I like about this shop is you can go in tell them you want your hair cut, then say I'm just going down Asda to do the weekly shop, and when you get back you haven't lost your place in the cue, that's if your one of their mates! If you've been waiting an hour and go to take your turn when their mate gets back, you'll be asked to move out of the chair. Good barbers, very bad manners. If you're mate isn't in the shop he's not in the cue. Don't be asking people to move out the chair if your mate hasn't been in the shop cueing!"

"I've switched barbers. I used to go to another one on Smithdown Road but I always left feeling disappointed as they weren't able to give me what I asked for. I popped into Soul Haircut by chance today because my old barber had a queue. The barber was super talented. I showed him a picture of a style I liked and he executed it to perfection. The fade was seamless and rather than just shearing away aimlessly with a set of clippers, he used several scissors as well as clippering to create a versatile style I could wear parted at the side for formal occasions like work and brushed up with a quiff when I want to go out and feel stylish. I walked out feeling several inches taller with a bounce in my step. When I met my friends later they all commented on my hair and said how good it looked. If you want a decent barber who actually listens to what you want and has the technical skills to cut and style it properly, I strongly suggest you try Soul Haircut. You won't be disappointed."
