"Very pleasant Green King pub very handily situated virtually next door to the station. Spacious with a variety standard and high tables. Three reals ales on tap plus a range of other beers and lagers. Service is friendly and brisk whilst card carrying CAMRA members receive a discount. Typical pub menu with table service for food. A series of TV screens around the bar make it a likely venue for watching sports."

"Great pub. Lots of TV’s normally showing football. Locals seem friendly with a good atmosphere. Food is Normal pub grub but served quickly and of good quality. I had the chicken sandwich and my friend the burger. Both of which were hot and tasty. Bar staff were also very friendly. Note there is no Garden and limited tables to the front on the busy main road. Location is easy with it being right next to Upminster station."
