"Great pub in a cool location close to Olympic Park, Hackney Wick and Leyton. Super darts board and lots of great beer choices. Pizza was delicious and we had a nice surprise when a ceilidh band just set up out of the blue and began performing. Will be back."

"Wonderful Irish surprise! Like, my family are from county Clare, but I've lived in England my whole life but went to Ireland as my holiday. It was so lovely being sat outside enjoying a beer and pizza (pizza from next door), listening to traditional Irish music. The way the trio were sat in the corner so casually, we had to ask if they had booked the band! Fantastic service, proper cosy vibes. 10/10 would recommend."

"I really wanted to support this place, I've had some amazing nights in there and as a local I wasn't expecting the attitude and customer service I experienced tonight (I don't even want to leave a 1 start it was that bad). I popped in there around 6pm on a Friday night with my family, understandably the pub was busy and the Irish band were due to play later (around 7pm I believe so plenty of time for a quick one). With limited seating available my wife and two children sat down at one of the two free table towards the back of the pub, one was reserved for the band but didn't think it would be an issue to seat on the table opposite, whilst waiting in the queue to get served I witnessed the reaction of one of the bar staff, calling another member of staff to kick us off. I've never experienced such an unnecessary nasty attitude anywhere, we were happy to move but the way it was delivered was appalling and inexcusable. It's clear they prefer empty seats over paying customers, or possibly families with children on a Friday night. It's a real shame, I won't be going back and would advise anyone else with children to avoid this pub, if you live locally there are plenty of better options further up the canal that are much more welcoming and family friendly."
