"Great pub for food and drinks, great staff. Lost my wallet and held onto it for me for a couple of days while I was searching for it. Also lovely big outside garden area."

"Dined here numerous times, always finding the pub grub to be decent and great value for money. That is until last night when whilst tucking into our meals water leaked all over our table completely spoiling the food. We switched seats twice in search of a dry spot. Disappointingly the waitress refused to offer any compensation despite being unable to finish two of our three dishes. Bearing in mind the toilets sit above the restaurant this could very likely have been sewage dripping directly onto our plate! Never had a problem until now but left reluctant to return after such a negative experience. Shame as the Brookmill serve one of the best roasts in Lewisham."

"Lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Staff are attentive and friendly. Food is awesome too with good selection of beers. The beef pie and chips was incredible!"

"Popped in for quick pint on way to station. Decent beer at a reasonable price. Friendly service and from what I saw a clean and well run place. Will go back and spend a bit longer but had a good vibe about it."

"Amazing food. Some traditional dishes done brilliantly (fish and chips: such a delightfully light batter, the best chips ever by a mile, fresh peas) and some equally delicious less traditional dishes (Thai squid for starters, chocolate and orange cake with vegan ice cream for dessert). Great feel to the place, lovely people. A great experience."
