Reviews
"Super friendly pub. First time there and everyone made us welcome. The Coyles were playing, great band and we had a lovely evening. Will definitely go back."
"The new landlord Martin is really friendly and the regulars are too. Glad to see a pub with a pool table. Also there is a lovely quite spacious beer garden area hidden to the rear with a lovely coach house gate feature."
"Old fashioned boozer. Doesn't do food and moderate selection of real ales."
"Lovely pub landlord very friendly and so are the locals. Good pint of Guinness too."
"Proper old-school pub for locals, but visitors also welcome. No food served other than bar snacks. They pour the best pint of Guinness for miles around and it's worth a visit for that alone. Sadly the owners are soon retiring and intend to redevelop the site with flats above a pub, but the pub will close and there's no guarantee that their intention for another pub will survive the change. So try it whilst you still can if you want to try a really authentic traditional pub."
