"You do have to pay for dropping people off, so be sure not to enter the slip road for it without meaning to. However that aside, it's not a bad setup, plenty of spaces and a good amount of room between them to get bags out and easy direct access to the terminal itself. The payment gates themselves are easy and efficient to use too, simply reading your vehicles registration and displaying the owed amount, with card and cash options both available. The roads within the Manchester airport region are a little confusing with lots of signs and roundabouts. Take your time, drive slowly and go round roundabouts multiple times if needs be. Yes it sucks you have to pay money to simply drop a loved one off at the airport, but at least it's a decent service as a result."
