Reviews of Cerebral Palsy Midlands
"A great place full of fun, information and companionship where everyone is treated as an individual, with respect and understanding. A place to meet friends, take part in activities and havd a say on what happens."
"I have visited CPM to watch various shows and performances put on by the service users over the last couple of years. All the staff seem to be very friendly and helpful. They have lovely large rooms with plenty of open space. I follow the CPM Facebook page and can see that they always have stuff going on at the centre which is clearly enjoyed by all. Two of my favourite events held by CPM are the CPM Big Push Sponsored Walk and the Weoley Big Night Out. I will continue to support CPM in any way that I can for years to come. Would definitely recommend this place."
"I have the pleasure of being one of the visiting teachers at CP Midlands. I teach tai chi. The clients I come into contact with clearly enjoy their time at the centre. The permanent staff are friendly and very caring. They do their best to ensure the clients can access activities and services that will be of benefit - and clearly the well being of the clients is the prime focus of centre. As a teacher I have never regretted my relationship with them."
"As a media professional with experience working with many national charities, I was personally extremely impressed by the attitude and dedicated approach of the staff. It was very clear that there is a huge passion to make a genuine impact on the quality of life for people with cerebral palsy."
"Cerebral Palsy Midlands is a great community hub and centre for my sister who has CP, she is involved in many daily activities such as Tai Chi, a 'Being Heard' music group, cookery and learning new skills daily, she has made a new family of friends and has been on many trips and holidays. When Vicky moved into independent living CPM helped with the lengthy process that was involved and the transition with the family. The charity are small but have a big heart and open themselves with many events to the whole community."
