"This was a football pitch that was always well maintained, grass was always picture perfect, markings of the pitch were spot on. It was one of them pitches you looked forward to playing on. I always felt proud to be playing on here. Always got a good crowd here when playing. I don't think there's many grounds round here now that could match this place."
