Reviews
"Really tasty chips ... fab"
"This has one of the best pints of Guiness in Bootle"
"Lovely pub good pint with a reasonably good price, with a good local atmosphere"
"Just in passing it looked to be a nice public house. Not been in as I was pushed for time but will do the next time I'm by there....."
"I needed this place cos I wasn't feeling well. The first place I went to was the Gents toilet. There were two broken locks on the door and no sign of a third one! There was a hand written sign saying "Don't throw the toilet rolls down the toilet" and of none them to be seen. The toilet and the seat were disgusting. Clearly the male clientele have no idea about leaving the toilet seat up, even though obviously ladies don't use the Gents! I was surprised, in fact astonished, to find people in the bar eating and drinking having some kind of function. I left without using the "facilities" feeling even more unwell and struggled to find elsewhere which turned out to be Wetherspoons just around the corner! I'm Bootle born and bred, but I though what would visitors think if brought here?"
