"A remote, old-fashioned bar which is a real step back in time to the 1960s. Usually only open in the evening, it's worth a visit if your passing. The bar man was friendly enough and ale was fine, just two to choose from. The outside toilets are disappointing but don't let that put you off."

Very friendly atmosphere, and the owners are most welcoming. Traditional offerings in period surroundings. No frills, but plenty to chat about. Marvel at the neat bowling green out back. Two cask ales always on. Highly recommended."
