Reviews
"We had the full English and brioche brekkie from their brunch menu. We were with our kids and they do a fairly reasonable kids offering for breakfast / brunch. Brunch and coffee for 3 adults and 2 kids cost just under £60 so quite pricy but worth it for a treat every once in a while."
"I'm never one for writing reviews, but thought something constructive may be helpful. We're local and have been for 40 years. I've always supported local businesses. We've had Sunday dinner a couple of times now and the food is excellent. However, the portions of meat are tiny (It literally is embarrassing for the servers to put the plates in front of you). We were also charged £3 for an extra single portion of gravy. Whats that about ?. Three of us had Sunday dinner and a bottle of Sauv Blanc and the bill was £100... For tea on Sunday .... It's simply too much, and the meat portions are too small. Also there are no children's portions. It's Sunday dinner, the life blood of the English gentry and working classes, surely its not difficult to have a children's portion. We've also dined at many other times during the week and the food and service have always been excellent.... Just thought a bit of feedback might be useful as I'd love to see the place packed every Sunday as well as other times.... Don't shoot the messenger :-)"
"Lovely place, staff are an absolute credit. Food was nice enough. Dog friendly, although the cost of a pint (5.90 for a neck oil) nearly made me swallow my tongue… and charged me £1.50 for a pint of lime and soda… which is really scandalous to be honest… so they have lost a star for me. Still, will be back though!"
