"When I've been here for a colour cut in the past with Lisa, the service was great - highly recommended. However, when I went back to book a hair colour recently, though I spoke to to the stylist, she couldn't give me an exact quote before I actually agreed to have the service done, even though it was a simple service I was asking for. That's quite an odd business strategy, because most people don't agree to a service without a quote... I was told it would be somewhere between £45 -£65 and then someone else told me £36-45 ... that's a bit of a big difference and makes me question how they come up with the price. Every other salon I've been to can provide me with a quote for a straight forward service. I'm afraid this has put me off... as a customer, I have to know how much I'm going to be expected to pay before I agree to a service."
