"I had been using Rowlands on a regular basis but i stopped going in because of the manager who was very rude and the service was appalling since a new manager was appointed in 2016 the service and staff have improved drastically and it is back to normal. I am dropping to 2 stars because i tried all day Monday 21/08/2017 to phone for an important repeat prescription and the phone was continually engaged until between 13/1400, lunch time! where it rang unanswered until 1401! engaged again! I went in and was told no it was on! and they were short staffed!! Think i will change to Well Chemist. Totallry unprofessional service"

"Popped in to pick up a pescription and was totally ignored by lady at the till. (several other members of staff were milling around in pharmacy, obiviously busy) eventually lady tells me she will be with me in a minute as shes doing something. about four minutes later shes still writing something and I feel a bit embarrassed as im standing at the counter with no sign of being served and Im running late. I say to her 'sorry I'm in a bit of a hurry', and get a whole load of abuse from her.. "i told you, i'm, busy (she is shouting this), I tell her there is no need to be so aggressive but she seems to want to have an argument or take out her bad mood on me. Everyone in the pharmacy hears this but pretends not to hear it, accept for one decent member of staff who gets me my prescrition ( this takes seconds) and apoligises (quietly) on behalf of the rude member of staff who storms off slaming a door. Absolutely appalling, I got the impression from the member of staff who apologised on her behalf, that this lady behaves like this often but gets away with it. I have been told that the gentleman in the pharmacy is the owner of this business (apologies if this information is wrong). This happened right in front of him and he chose to ignore it. I will never use this pharmacy again, appalling that that sort of behaviour towards customers is acceptable."
