"Absolutely abbhoront service, zero stars would be too much. I snapped a tooth on Sunday and was in agony. I rang 111 and the NHS lady was amazing, she asked a few questions and then confirmed that I needed an emergency appointment. She said Abbeydale Road Dental Practice would contact me the next morning with an appointment, the next morning I received a text from Abbeydale Road Dental Practice confirming an appointment for Tuesday 2pm. I arrived at 1.30pm and waited outside until the doors opened at 2pm, went to reception and showed the lady my text with the appointment details and she just said the text was an error and my appointment was for yesterday and I'd missed it. I asked if the message was sent from the Practice or NHS and she confirmed it was from the Practice, I asked to speak to the Practice Manager and I was then asked to leave and ring 111 for another appointment after almost 3 days in agony. This place is an absolute disgrace and I would avoid at all costs, even if you're desperate and in agony......"

"Just awful. Receptionists cold. No welcome from the dentist when I came in, no communication as to what she was doing and what she could see. X ray done uncomfortably as had to put something in my mouth and no directions as to where to place it and ended up cutting base of my mouth as quite rough. Nothing said about x-ray when done, would've been nice to know if my wisdom tooth was coming through ok. Thankfully no charge for x-ray, wouldn't have paid anyway as no communication given about this happening until it was done. Rubbish. Was an emergency 111 appointment so had no choice to which dentist I went to after referral. Won't be registering. AVOID!!!!!"

"First appointment was a long wait due to staff shortage, these things happen. Dr Tomasz explained I needed 3 fillings and showed on the x-ray where the damage was. I hate fillings in general but I got them done. Was understanding on my anxieties over needles"

"STAY AWAY. DONT GIVE YOUR MONEY. By far the worst "dentist" on the planet. And the receptionist wow. What a rude, arrogant, all round disgusting human being. Honestly one of the worst experiences of my life. If you go there you don't have any self respect. And your teeth will never ever get looked after"

"This dentist practice is a disgrace. Tomasz Pilc is in such a hurry to get you in and out of the appointment, makes you feel so uncomfortable for asking basic questions about treatment options and not willing to discuss treatment at all. Makes you feel you are wasting his precious time, as they say in dentist speak “money is time”. So bizarre. Begs the question in relation of level of training this dentist has had in relation to ethical treatment. Dentist seems agitated that you are even at the appointment and is required to answer legitimate questions about treatment. It is like he his distracted by watching the clock and how quickly he can get you out and the next patient in, so he can maximise hourly charges. Will not let you speak or ask questions. So unethical and unprofessional. Only interested in how much they can maximise cost of treatment. In addition, the reception staff are so rude, but I believe this is an ethos that trickle downs from the dentistry team to reception staff/dental nurses who also have utter disregard and contempt for patients. I have tolerated unsatisfactory treatment from this practice for a number of years, but no more. Enough is enough. I am an NHS patient who also has to pay for treatment. Regardless of paying for treatment, I do expect to have an informed consultation and agree a treatment plan, as anyone would, and not to be treated as an inconvience , who can’t ask basic questions about treatment. I will be reporting to the regulating authority about this practice and they need to take note of patients experience and reviews."
