"I never do reviews but skill level isn’t remotely close, there’s 2 great barbers maybe 3 depending on the day in the whole shop, the rest are no good, been like 20 times and if you don’t pick the right person you won’t get a fade, it’s literally just skin to hair."
""Not women friendly" Very disappointed with the service. I thought that I could get a good very short hair style from a male barber as they more used to fade cuts and got a concentration camp cut. It has no shape hair left with different lengths even though is so short. Its faded here, there and everywhere... It's bad enough as a women to have to cut my hair due to being ill but to then see this result Was also charged £15. And only after mentioned it to my son I did some checking and realised that's the police policy after 7pm. Fair play but it would have been nice to be made aware. I would then choose to come some other day. I sure wouldn't wait for so long for my turn. I would not recomend this place for female cuts. The barber will give you just anything. And yes it is the correct review for the correct barber."
"The good: - There were plenty of barbers available to cut my hair 1h before closing. -The shop is clean and the layout is good. -The owner will take some time to talk to you. Room for improvement: -The barbers were not exactly thrilled to have a customer 1h before closing. I approached one and he was swigging a beer and said “you don’t want me to cut your hair, I’m drinking.” -Eventually the barber on the side closest to the door said he would cut my hair. Felt like “he was taking one for the team.” He promptly informed me it was £15 because “some people moan”. I was fine with this, it’s what I usually pay in London. The fade was pretty good but I also asked for a shave and he left a patch of hair under my chin. This is a lack of care/attention to detail and of course disappointing. I shaved that bit off myself when I noticed it at home. For the price I expect a premium service- but apart from the owner I can’t say anyone else in the shop was invested in my repeat custom. Having had a haircut in London since the level of customer service and attention to detail was a lot higher for the same price. My overall impression is you’ll be good here as long as you don’t catch the barbers on an “off” day. Not what I’m looking for. I’ll try their branch in new street to see if there’s a higher standard."
"No star. No effort. I would attach pictures but you can't upload pictures. I paid ten pounds for a fade and ended up with a haircut that everyone including the hairdressers asking me if I cut my hair myself. I looked in the mirror and there was no sign of a fade. I took pictures as soon as I saw one side of my head was higher than the other. Can't believe I walked away with my head looking like this. Unprofessional. Now I'm at another barbers in eclipse getting it fixed. Having to pay extra."
"Horrific experience to say the least. Recently moved to Birmingham, and after searching around for local barbers in the city centre, I found one or two decent reviews about this place online. So I decided to go.. At entrance, the barber was sat in his chair, staring outside, didn't even pay attention that I (the customer) had walked in. After asking if he was serving, I got a blunt reply "Come man". For the first 5 minutes, the barber was on his phone, me seated, waiting. He started cutting my hair at the same time (without asking what I had wanted). Then, when I told him I wanted a 0.5mm on the sides, he ended up cutting it 1.5mm, gave me a horrible shape-up (which I had to fix up myself at home) and also scissored my hair from the top in one or two places and claimed he had "Done". Total haircut lasted around 8 minutes. Usually, the same style takes a normal barber 30-40 minutes. Tomorrow I'm going to have to spend more money and visit another barber somewhere else to fix this mess up. Never going back there again and I warn you guys, stay away from this place and I hope you do not experience this rude service. I could go into more detail but I think I've said enough to just warn you guys out there. I've never written a review in my life before, but this had to be done. Rant over."
