"Get rid of the receptionist! There are plenty of decent people who would be happy to have her job and they would actually do it to a good standard. I dont know what she is busy with but her core job is supposed to be dealing with patients. I just rang this morning asking for a matb1 form which I urgently need. She first hung up then told me to request this from my midwife (who obviously works at the practice). She gave me an incomplete number to ring and kept hanging up afterwards. Madam if you dont like your job bloody quit."
"They are very rude the receptionist answered with a rude hello with a sound of condescension took a very long time to pick up they are a small infirmary I doubt it takes that long even if it does no need to be rude when answering the phone thank you."
"I thought a medical receptionist is supposed to make you feel welcome when you are attending to things you could be worried about like your health or the health of a baby. The woman on the reception here is the rudest woman I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. She needs sacking asap and the rest of the reviews agree with me!"
"Waiting for the doctor for long time, when while others are calling the names. Service was not very good and the rest of doctors, taking too much longer time, (I'm really really miss old doctors) and the new doctors, not very helpful and check ups for any pains or not given any medicals pain killer, which I still I really really HATE the flu jabs (in summer time and winter), it's doesn't work for me anymore, I try and try, cold flu still catching me all the time."
"its disgusting that when you go to the doctors that you have been going to for over 20 years and its like you are a stranger and unwelcome in your own community surgery. when they hire receptionist from out the area that have little or no compassion.. have a privileged attitude and talk down to you is just disgusting and disappointing. i miss the days when visiting your doctors surgery was a joyous occasion no matter what the reason for visiting because there was a family atmosphere an every face was recognisable. the days when your first point of contact set the mood in a positive way and let you know you are safe hands. Not where a receptionist forces and is very vocal with regards to her opinion on choices you make with regards to your children. Not where the receptionist is a antagonist and laughs in your face when you tell her to stay in her place.. its such a shame and needs addressing as its so wrong"
