"They don't follow UK trading laws, they are glorified scammers. They think adding a little 'sorry no refunds, store credit only :)' makes them above the UK distance selling act which I will quote below. The customer service is lazy, negligent and they literally aired me for days like they were some teenager, absolutely appalling and embarrassing. I have had to unfortunately a file an official complaint with the UK trading standard regulatory board and I'm glad I have because this brand attracts a lot of young people and I wouldn't want them to be scammed out of their hard earned money in these times. On top of this the shoes quality are dreadful, the leather is cheap, heavily coated and poorly finished. Having spoken to people since I have heard of many complain the shoes fell apart in a matter of weeks and they went through the exact same ordeal with customer services. Wish I had done my research before purchasing and hope this helps someone out to be sure before they consider buying. (From the UK official government website) Online, mail and phone order sales Online, mail and telephone order customers have the right to cancel their order for a limited time even if the goods are not faulty. Sales of this kind are known as ‘distance selling’. You must offer a refund to customers if they’ve told you within 14 days of receiving their goods that they want to cancel. They have another 14 days to return the goods once they’ve told you. You must refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the goods back. They do not have to provide a reason. Give me my money back as I have returned the shoes well within the 14 days and learn how to treat paying customers with respect, it's not hard as someone who's been doing so for a decade. I was initially patient however this has been going on for too long."

"You'd expect high quality, design and durability from a company as sleek as Miista, but in reality, the products are dire. I ordered a pair of sandals in the summer which snapped at the strap after one wear. Although disappointed, I was relieved of their fast reply and attempt to resolve the issue. (clearly a one off) I used a credit note to buy a pair of brogues... Any better? No, definitely not... They also snapped at the buckle/ strap area after a couple of wears. This time, no response from Miista customer care, complete radio silence. I see this isn't an isolated approach, based on other reviews. Would not shop with them again... `"

"Shoes are not true to size and returns policy is a sham. Ended up spending about £40 on nothing as the boots had to be returned. Would not recommend. For the cost of the shoes I would expect better - £15 admin fee if you return shoes??? Strange."

"I really want to love Miista, but I just have not had good experiences. Within one month of owning the Kristi mules the sole had completely lifted away. Customer support was great – they reimbursed what I spent to have the shoes repaired at the cobbler. However, I actually had a second pair of the same mules stored away in my closet for future use and had the exact same issue with the second pair. On top of that, both pairs turn my feet black when I wear them barefoot. If you're looking to make an investment shoe purchase, I don't recommend this brand."

"I love their shoes and boots...brought 2 pairs of their E8 boots in different colours and the black ones the whole sole/platform came away after 4 wears and the shoe mender couldn't believe how badly they were made yet the other pair I have had no problems with .. I was also told to take them to a cobbler. he tried to mend them but it would have cost loads to do that so didn't bother...shame as I love the styles but they need to be made better!!"
