"Getting an appointment is like trying to access Fort Knox with a pistol in your hand. The system of "phone again tomorrow at 8am" only doubles the workload. Once in there the service is very good. It's the getting in in the first place that is the problem."
"Dr Polson is incredible! I contacted the surgery about contraception and I had everything removed, organised and prescribed within 3 days of explaining my problems. Couldn’t recommend the surgery enough. It’s amazing having certain contraception available here that I have not been able to access quickly in the past. Also any problem I have I use the online service for and they respond so quickly. The reception staff are lovely too!"
"This service doesnot deserve not even one star, had to put one to post this. The practitioner don't have adequate knowledge to treat patient, they provided some misleading healthcare advise based on some so called telephone assessment and patient had to suffer because of their misleading advise over the phone. Some practitioner called Physio now a days, I dont think they have 1% knowledge to treat people other than providing some misleading advise. I have a hand injury I seek advise from the service due to continuous pain, they referred a Physio to call me in the afternoon. That day got a call from Physio and she did some telephone assessment and based on that she said I have arthritis, I got scared because at this age I should not have arthritis, anyway they advised me to take on paracetamol and one Ibuprofen four times a day, not sure if I can take both of these medicines together and she also mentioned that she will take a look after 4/5 weeks if I still have the pain will apply steroid injection. I followed her advise but after 24 hours nothing changed rather than the pain increased, thats why I decided to go to A&E where they did an Xray and found out there is no arthritis rather there may be some muscle or bone injury they referred me to the hand clinic where again they are unable to say exactly what happened, gave me a sprint to support my hand. Now as a follow up I went to the GP today as was advised from the hospital. I told the the Physio that without looking at the patient you should not be advising something that is wrong as I dont have any arthritis that your colleague suspected on the very first day without looking. Also mentioned that I had to go to A&E because the pain was not going based on what you have advised. At that point he said why you went to A&E, you dont have any accident or emergency, at this point I realised their level of knowledge and understanding, this people are treating us without having no knowledge rather providing us some misleading advise. I explained that if I dont go to hospital I would not know that I don't have arthritis which is a completely misleading information that was given about my health by your colleague based on online assessment. He disagreed with me at various points that I tried to brought up about the service that I got. So I gave up. I think there might be also racial issue related to this, that may be another reason of this kind of attitude. If this type of service NHS continued to provide then I dont know where people would go for the treatment. We call it free but its not, we tax payers pay huge amount of tax each year for this so called services and in return we get very poor service from doggy people. Better if anyone can avoid this GP practice and find at least a better one who have knowledgeable people."

"A little bit surprised at the poor reviews on here. Excellent medical staff and nurses, administrative staff are reasonably friendly and helpful also. The NHS is under massive pressures and demands, so understandably the online system reaches capacity quite early during the day. If you wake up at 7am you will always be able to log a request. I've been seen urgently a few times over the last few months, or within a few days for myself and my toddler. Always met with care, concern and empathy. Best GP experience I've ever had."
